I must strongly protest this slander against anarchists. We  do not advocate
acts of random political violence (the bomb throwing incidents of the turn of
the Century having been promulgated by certain "unstable" individuals
claiming anarchist inspiration--and magnified in the minds of the public by
sensationalist journalism). Not to say that anarchists are strict pacifists,
but rather that we have--of anybody-- a very real understanding of the power
of the State and the usually counterproductive nature of terrorism. For the
most part, of course, our dedication to liberty, voluntary mutualism and real
(community based) democratic power precludes the use of individual acts of
violence against authority.

Finally, I suggest Dr. Evenhuis investigate the armed bee-fly resistance at
"alt. revolution. bomb (yliid). bomb (yliid)." for a dissenting viewpoint.
