Dear taxacomers.

I am studyig some natural fish hybrids, presumably of first generation.
Naturally I do not know wich of the two parent species is the male and
which is the female.
Exist in such as this case a rule to correctly write the sequence of
the two parent species?

Example: _Salmo marmoratus_ X _Salmo trutta_ or _Salmo trutta_ X _Salmo
marmoratus_? (we use a simple alphabetical sequence or not?).

Can somebody help me in the solution of this curiosity?
Finally can you suggest me the bibliographic reference of an eventual
publication that reports and explains rules to correctly write hybrid
names?
Thank you very much in advance for the collaboration.
