freeze my herbarium

I am aware that some herbaria control insects by bundling the sheets in
plastic and placing them in a deep freezer.

My question is: how long should the bundles be left in the freezer?

I have a small, chest-type freezer that will barely hold one case of
sheets.  I have 31 cases.  If I leave them in the freezer for 2 weeks, it
will take well over a year to treat the whole herbarium.
