field work in Gabon

Dear All,

In January of next year I'm spending some time in Gabon undertaking field work,
looking at the pollination ecology of some of the rainforest plants
(Asclepiadaceae in the main, but also Piperaceae and _Dorstenia_ [Moraceae] if
you're interested).  Have any of you worked in that part of the world and do
you have any advice/tips/warnings or experiences to share?
