Dear friends, It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of Dr. J.C. Raulston, founding director of the NCSU Arboretum. J.C. died in an automobile accident on December 21. 1996 at 11.30 p.m. in Ramseur, North Carolina. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 19th, 1997, at 2 p.m. at the McKimmon Center on the NCSU Campus. Bian Tan Strybing Arboretum
