PHONY ENVIRONMENTALISTS:  A full color "Guide to Spotting A Phony
Environmentalist in Congress" is available for Earth Day to assist
citizens in identifying who the real environmental heroes are, and
which politicians are instead engaged in "greenscam."  The guide shows
a smiling, suited politician with his foot on a stump, a seedling in
one hand, and a trash bag in the other. "Plants a tree on Arbor Day,
but votes to clear-cut our national forests," the guide says. "Collects
garbage at a beach clean up for local TV, then votes to gut the Clean
Water Act."
