Latin and Anigozanthus

The discussion of the gender of Anigozanthos should make it clear why the
next International Code of Zoological Nomenclature should dispense TOTALLY
with such arcane rules of word formation.  Who can define "genitive"
without using a dictionary? Also, there can be some disagreement between
different Latin reference texts.
