NY Botanical Garden type records now on the BBC gopher

Type Specimen Catalog of the New York Botanical Garden

The New York Botanical Garden is in the process of cataloging its approximately
150,000 type specimens.  We intend to make these records available via
the Biodiversity and Biological Collections Gopher (on the MUSE project
server at Cornell University).  Specimen records will be posted family by
family, as cataloging is completed.  Currently, the following vascular plant
families are available:

        Caesalpiniaceae   (1337 records)
        Ericaceae         (1239 records)
        Lamiaceae         ( 638 records)
