E-mail to Puerto Rico?

Hello out there:

Does anybody know if it is possible to communicate with colleagues at
the University of Puerto Rico, San Juan, via e-mail?  I am looking
specifically for Dr. James Ackerman, dept. of Biology. I have tried
Netfind but All I get is "TCP error" or other error messages.
