Dear fellow biologists,
As developer of ELEDONE, a personal-computer-based program for collection
management, I need the help of some of you.
ELEDONE offers the possibility to add and remove families of animals from
its family database table. The problem is that the set of families
recognised by ELEDONE is rather incomplete at present. Although it is very
well possible for me to make it complete by getting lost in a library for
some weeks, it is very well possible that complete family files already
exist.
Therefor I hope anyone of you can help me.
I need (on paper but preferably as an ascii file or in dbf format)
phylogenetic layouts (modern, up-to-date, non-controversial generally
accepted and complete), at least to family level,of the following groups.
Plathelminthes
Xenoturbellida
Mesozoa
Acanthocephala
Nematoda
Nematomorpha
Rotatoria
Kinorhyncha
Entoprocta
Tardigrada
Annelida, all groups except Polychata and Pogonophora)
Onychophora
Arthropoda, all groups except Crustacea and Pycnogonida
Phoronidea
Ectoprocta
Chordata, Amphibia
Chordata, Reptilia
Any one of you who can be of help will get a printed list of the
systematics of the animal kingdom, plus a dbf-file of all those families,
in return.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this, hope to hear from some of you!
Sincerely,
Ron Voskuil
