FNA WWW

Meredith Lane asked why data from Flora of North America volumes would
not be available in an interactive form, e.g. in SGML.  I replied to the
list but perhaps didn't do it correctly.  FNA volumes 1 and 2 have been
available for some time through the FNA home page at
http://fna.wustl.edu/FNA and of course new information will be made
available here as well.  The CD-ROM version will incorporate data
structures, entity relationships, and coded data too, along with the
illustrations and maps.
