Decay Indices

Hello all,

    I am seeking references and  information on the Bremer Indices, better
known as 'Decay indices'.  Used to estimate "confidence" in cladograms as
an alternative to using the bootstrapp method or the Clade Stability Index
(CSI).  Can anyone help me out.
