PhD OPPORTUNITIES IN PLANT SYSTEMATICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG

The following research projects in plant systematics are being offered for the
period 1995-98:

1.  Phylogenetic systematics and reproductive biology of Burmannia L.
    (Burmanniaceae), with particular reference to east Asiatic species.

2.  Evolution and systematics of Illicium L. (Illiciaceae) using structural
    and rbcL gene sequence data.

3.  Evolution and systematics of the Schisandraceae using structural and
    secondary metabolite data, with particular reference to lignans and
    triterpenes.
