brine shrimp - eggs

A request for info:  What are brine shrimp eggs made out of? I have a
colleague, a geologist working on recent sediments from the Great Salt
Lake and the eggs of these critters are making up a large portion of the
material. She needs to know their general composition - please respond to
me directly (off net). Thanks in advance.
