Dear fellow biologists,

Some time ago I posted a message through TAXACOM in which I asked for
systematic layouts, up to family level, of the Animal Kingdom.

My primary goal is to compile a modern, up-to-date, non-controversial,
generally accepted and complete layout of classification of animals. This
layout will be included in a commercial program, ELEDONE (a collection
management program) and will be made available in the public domain.

After my previous request, on May 4th 1995, I was able to add the Rotifera
(Rotatoria), Kamptozoa (Entoprocta), Amphibia and Reptilia to the ever
growing database file of families. I thank all of you who have contributed
to this task.

To complete the layout I still need systematic layouts of the following groups:

        Plathelminthes
        Xenoturbellida
        Mesozoa
        Acanthocephala
        Nematoda
        Nematomorpha
        Kinorhyncha
        Tardigrada
        Annelida, all groups except Polychaeta and Pogonophora
        Onychophora
        Arthropoda. all groups except Crustacea and Pycnogonida
        Phoronidea
        Ectoprocta

Any one of you who can be of help will get a printed list, plus a dbf file,
of the complete layout as soon as it is finished.
