Just another anthropological aside: The recent allusion to the suffering of
the pangolin is poignant, in that pangolins are considered holy by certain
African secret societies, because of their passivity under attack. Their
response to danger makes them appear to be delivering themselves up
willingly to death. (I am not making this up).
>>two days out of three. Anyway, pangolins have suffered enough, especially
>>since being roasted and eaten in large quantities by John the Baptist,
>>and I must request that the readership of TAXACOM show more consideration
>>for this noble creature.
