English Latin?

I did not study Latin and English is my second language.  I usually
pronounce Latin scientific names during presentations the way I would
pronounce it in my native language, Tagalog (Pilipino).  Listeners who
could not understand it have the option to ask question or clarify it
with me some other time.  Rules for correct pronounciation will not be
helpful.  In some languages, certain consonants are difficult to
pronounce, e.g., in Japanese r becomes l or certain letters pronounced
differently as p becomes f and f to p in Kapampangan (another Philippine
language) and I'm sure many more examples.
