scientific name of the "Royal Palm"

Dear Colleagues:

I used (naively) to believe that the Royal Palm's scientific name was
Roystonea regia (Kunth). yet, I have just stumbled across a paper calling
it Oreodoxa regia Kunth. In doing a quick literature search there seems
to be some taxonomic difficulty I have no time to get into now Taxon
43:662-664 (paper by Zona 1994). Can someone let me know to what genus
should one correctly place the Royal Palm?  Thank you.
