A tiny aquatic plant in the family Scrophulariaceae has recently been
collected in several inland lakes and ponds in eastern Pennsylvania and
New Jersey. We've been able to identify it as a member of the genus
Glossostigma, but do not have access to a key to the 5 or 6 species said
to comprise this genus, which according to our sources, occurs in
Australia, New Zealand, Africa and India. Can anyone suggest a reference
with keys and descriptions of the species of Glossostigma? Has anyone
else found a member of this genus in eastern North America?
