Experiences with a collection move?

          Collection moves are the bane of a Collection Manager's
          life. I am afraid they are a frequent occurrence here as we
          accommodate the changing needs of a large Natural History
          and Anthropology museum on a city site.
          I have recently moved our microscope slide collections and
          dry echinoid collections. We use a combination of Museum
          staff and removalists depending on the specimens and the
          cabinets in which they are stored.
          I am certain that this will not be the last time that I have
          to move collections and each move presents its own set of
          problems.
