fees for services

We have a contract with USDA for identifying mollusks intercepted on
imported goods.  We charge $75 per identification with 24 hour turn
around time.  This charge was determined by analyzing the average time
spent on an identification, along with standard salary and fringe benefits
and overhead rates.  We are allowed to retain specimens of interest to us,
but most specimens are returned to USDA [United States Department of.
Agriculture].
