   The Australian Nature Conservation Agency invites applications from
   persons interested in the following position:

      Australian Biological Resources Study
      Central Office
      Black Mountain
      A.C.T.

      Scientific Editor
      (Senior Professional Officer Grade C)
      $44,018 - $47,814 (Australian currency)
      (PN 445)

   The successful applicant will coordinate production, editing, preparation
   and publication of specific volumes of the Algae of Australia and related
   Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) publications, and supervise
   the work of authors, illustrators and support staff.

   The successful applicant will also assist in the development of
   procedures and conventions relating to the production of ABRS
   publications.

   Eligibility and other requirements: Possess an appropriate degree or
   diploma in science or an equivalent qualification.

   Selection will be based on assessment against specified selection
   criteria. Applicants should therefore ensure that in their application
