Please help for the common names of Paspalum distichum

The name given in North American manuals (e.g. Hitchcock & Chase; Fernald
etc) is "Knotgrass".

If a wider range of common names is sought, I would recommend one of the
multi-lingual compendia, of which:

Gerth van Wik, H. L. 1911-1916.  A dictionary of plant-names.  2 vols. The
Hague, Netherlands.  (1971 facsimile edition, published by Asher).

is one of the most complete for the major European languages, despite its
antiquity.
