Oh lord, how much trouble an inadvertent slip of the tongue can get one into. In regard to Dick Jensen's interpretation that my comment about ego was sexist, I didn't mean "her" as opposed to "him"; I was just suggesting that I think there often is an element of ego in anyone's desire to have children.
