I can't resist answering Diana Horton's last message ("ego - his desire
to live on.").  The last time I looked, it took two to do this.  Are you
suggesting that she had no say in whether or not she had an additional
child?  Perhaps it's her desire to live on.

I'm not suggesting that it's easy for a wife to deny her husband's
wishes, but unless she was coerced in some way (and there are lots of
subtle ways), then she is equally responsible for this next child.
