Justicia cooleyi status

Can anyone offer opinions or evidence to the possibility that Justicia
cooleyi (Acanthaceae) is an introduced species to Florida.

This species is endemic to Hernando County, and a recently rediscovered
site in Sumter County, but many authors have reported that this species
of Justicia is very different from most of the other N. American Taxa
that it is possibly introduced.

Any assistance, references, leads, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
