I'm asking for help to identify insects collected at the "Parque Nacional de
la Sierra del Chiribiquete (COLOMBIA); 1.200.000 Ha. of tropical rain forest.
Insects were collected during a combined scientific expedition organized
by Colombian and Spanish Institutions. The hispano-colombian team remained
in the P.N. of Chiribiquete since November, 23 to December 2, 1994.
Specimens are preserved in alcohol 70% and belong to following orders:
Ortopteroids ...........  39
Isoptera ............... 600
Ephemeroptera ..........   2
Neuroptera .............  13
Psocoptera .............   2
Hymenoptera (Aculeata).. 471
Coleoptera ............. 283
Hemiptera ..............  15
Homoptera ..............  15
Diptera ................  undetermined number.

Types of new specimens should be returned to the address indicated below, but
specialists might hold paratypes when typical series would contain more than
five specimens. Likewise, specialists might also hold until 10% of studied
material when it does not belong to typical series.

Specialists can publish taxonomic descriptions, checklists, etc. at their
convenience. A reprint should be sent to the address indicated below.
