    Has anyone tried to compare slime molds using electrophoretic
techniques?  I have had some bought cultures living in the lab for
six months and recently found a 'wild' specimen.  Any thoughts on
angles of attack.  DNA or protien comparisons?  I figure I'll look at
viability on different substrates and direct competition on same
media.  If there is a difference in the phoretic data possibly sample
a 'hybrid' slime.
