botanical management software

Dear Netters
The herbarium of Agronomic Engineering School "Luiz de Queiroz" of University
of Sao Paulo, Brasil, will digitize the botanical data of its 13.000 exsiccatae
collection. It has increased by 4.000 numbers per year and now there are a PC486
with a 120 Mb winchester available.
I will be grateful if you could send me directly some information and
suggestions about the best choice of a herbarium data base management software
for this problem. I will summarize the answers and send to the list.
