Volunteer mailing lists?

One new Usenet newsgroup, and a second now being voted on, needs
a gated mailing list.  Are there any volunteers on TAXACOM who
might be interested in becoming the owner/administrator of a very
active mailing list gated to a Usenet newsgroup?  The newsgroups
in question are

        sci.bio.microbiology
and
        sci.bio.paleontology (now being voted on)

If you're interested, have an idea what the job involves, and can
either run it yourself on your own machine or have a supportive
environment at your institution (that is, other mailing lists run
on a well-administered general-use host), drop me a note and we'll
discuss this further.
