telegraphic style

New taxon descriptions in zoology are supposed to be written in "telegraphic
style."  Does anyone know of a recent and readily available published recipe
for telegraphic style in English (i.e., one to which a slightly bemused
journal editor could refer authors unfamiliar with the concept)?  Thanks.
