This thread does seem to get more humorous each day.  yet when we
try to establish taxanomics guidelines the whole community doesn't
want it.  We saw this in Berlin and just this past year in Tokyo.

One of the proposal at Tokyo was to essentially grandfather in the
taxonmics,                we have been using and basically say these are the
 basic
guidelines for naming standards in botanical specimens.
