Rather than freeze-drying tropical species, a much better idea is
to freeze-dry Benford and keep him cryogenically supported during
the coming decades while the tropical surveys and inventories
collect and identify the species that require freeze-drying.
Then, once thawed, Dr. Benford can lead the cryogenic
conservation brigade.
