species numbers

  Here goes my first attempt at using the virtual world to get
  information......
  Does anyone know of a reference commenting on belowground
  species numbers in temperate and tropical forests?  Others
  have commented on the fact that belowground diversity in
  temperate forests rivals that in tropical forests but I have
  yet to see any published info on this.
