                              Call for Papers

The 25th International Numerical Taxonomy Conference will be held June 25-
27, 1993 at the University of Pittsburgh.  This meeting will interface with
the 25th meeting of the Classification Society of North America (June 24-
26).  The two societies will co-sponsor a Saturday symposium and the NT
program will continue through Sunday afternoon with a second symposium and
a contributed paper session.

     Saturday, June 26:       Symposium - Morphometrics

                              "Statistical Analysis of Shape in Biological
                               Data," Colin R. Goodall, Pennsylvania State
                               University

                              "Statistical Analysis of Shape Using Partial
                               Warp Scores," F. James Rohlf, SUNY, Stony
                               Brook

     Sunday, June 27:         1. Symposium - Title to be announced
                                 The role and impact of NT in biology

                              2. Contributed Papers


Contributed papers may focus on methodology, applications, and practical or
philosophical issues, including morphometrics, biogeography, molecular
systematics, phenetics, and cladistics.  Abstracts should be no more than
one page and must include the following: title, author(s) (if multiple
authors, identify the presenter), institutional affiliation, abstract of no
more than 200 words.

Abstracts for contributed papers should be submitted by 1 April 1993.  To
to submit an abstract (e-mail submission is encouraged) or be placed on the
NT-25 mailing list, please contact
