                   XIII BRAZILIAN PALEONTOLOGICAL CONGRESS
                    1st CONE SUL PALEONTOLOGICAL SYMPOSIUM

     The congrees it will be held at UNISINOS in Sao Leopoldo, Rio Grande do
     Sul during September 19-26, 1993.  The main topics covered it will be
     defined by next December but they can be summarized as they were present
     by the organizers:

     .Micropaleontology
     .Paleoecology
     .Carbon paleoflora
     .Tertiary Paleoflora
     .Mesozoic Faunas
     .Paleobiogeography of Gondwana
     .Paleopathology

     In addition with the topics cited above it will be organized field
     excursions, workshops and poster sessions.

     More details and informations it will be provided in the next circular
     of the Congress by next December.
