My name is Andy Langton, a writer from England.

I have written a 26 000 word novel for children aged 7-9 years where the main theme is cricket.

I am going down the self-publishing route with it and I am writing to ask if you or one of your colleagues at the Sport Literature Association would be willing to write a short, one or two sentence review/blurb for the book? This will then go on the back cover or inside to give it some credibility.

I know cricket is not a popular sport in the United States but I am aware that it is growing and there is a movement to promote it as a sport over there.
