We would like to encourage you to submit articles dealingwith sport in water cultures for consideration for a special issue of the InternationalJournal of the History of Sport due for publication in late2025.
We welcome submissions dealing with any aspects of rowing,swimming, sailing, diving, surfing, fishing, canoeing and any otherrecreational or competitive maritime, riverine or other aquatic sportingactivity, including the practices, participants, organisation, or institutionsof aquatic sport. We particularly encourage submissions dealing with issues,practices, and cultures outside Europe and North America.
Please submit your paper by Monday 7 April 2025. Papersshould be no longer than 10,000 words, including references.
