[ARETE] Places to stay near Acadia?

We’re hoping to spend the night of June 22 near Acadia National Park so we can hike there on June 23, before heading down to Boothbay Harbor. Anyone have recommendations on where to stay? We’re coming from California, so we won’t have camping gear, and are looking, for example, at the Eden Village Cottages.
