[ARETE] Conference Information from Fred Mason

Hi everyone, I want to offer my apologies for the delay in getting out the registration and housing information. The university has been undergoing a bi-campus reorganization of administrative units, which has understandably meant people are nervous and many have looked for opportunities elsewhere. We lost our head of conference services in January, and our main person in charge of housing not that long ago. This has meant that some people have had to take on multiple roles and learn those jobs on the fly, with its own impact on their stress levels and health.  Our food services contract was also changed to a new service provider in January, meaning delays in knowing many of the costs that have to be accounted for. I have access to test sites for registration and housing, and am going back and forth to make them as useful as possible. I hope to have them available in the next couple of days.   Fred
