[ARETE] Summary of Annual Business Meeting

   - Thanks extended to Fred Mason (host) and Adrian Markle (program chair and now President) for another amazing event.  Extra kudos to all the editors and members who make this organization viable in its 40th year!
   - Financial support continues from ETSU and from LA84 but punctual annual membership payments are appreciated. Also appreciated is the extra amount many offer for the continued support of our graduate students. Several members (Dale Ritterbusch and David Kilpatrick, e.g.) have offered a percentage of book sales to those funds.
   - Venues are set for the next four years (but will be happy to consider fifth if there's a volunteer)
   
   - 2024-Orono Maine
   - 2025-Mercy College New York
   - 2026-University of Iowa
   - 2027-Limoges France
   
   - JOB OPENING (no money but it looks good on your vitae) for Association Secretary. The only responsibilities include attending the conference, taking notes during the business meeting, and editing the proceedings (also a perk because it is a publication). Those interested should contact Joyce Duncan.
