Dear Noah,

I hope you're kicking into the new year. I'm putting together a Symposium at Penn State that is looking at Africana Movement, Healing, and Wellness. Would you mind sharing the CFP with folks on the listserv? Folks thinking through Black Sporting practices/motions/movements are welcome to apply and will be in conversation with an interdisciplinary group of folks (scholars of dance and yoga for example)

The Symposium is set for April 28th-29th.  We are excited to have scholars such as Drs. Jasmine E. Johnson, Mary Phillips, Stephanie Y. Evans, and Amira Rose Davis join us. Paper abstracts and CVs are due January 15th. Any interested folks can contact me at maryamaziz at psu.edu<mailto:maryamaziz at psu.edu> with questions.
