While I'm not sure this is technically "sport literature, *Shifting
Currents* is a A deep dive into the history of aquatics that exposes
centuries-old tensions of race, gender, and power at the root of many
contemporary swimming controversies.  If anyone out there is interested,
contact djamieso at ashland.edu and not the list, and I can get you a copy for
the price of a review.  It does sound interesting, but I'm not a
swimmer--on the water yes, in it, no thanks.
