Hello, All—

 

I wanted to try a bit of crowdsourcing as I’m designing a new gen. ed. level class in Sport & Literature. Though I’ve been delighted to participate in a SLA conference and have subscribed toAethlon for 4-5 years, this is my first time teaching a class devoted to our topic. I’ve been looking into past issues ofAethlon for a few extra titles (novels, short stories, or poems) worth considering. If you have experience teaching classes on Sport & Lit (or just an idea for a text or two), I’d be delighted to hear any suggestions. Any suggestions are truly welcome, and I’d be particularly interested in suggestions of texts involving women’s sports. Please respond ‘off list’ (i.e. directly to me atmrsmalley3 at fhsu.edu).
