Now in its 37th year, the Sport LiteratureAssociation addresses the intersection of sport with the written word. Althoughthe primary purpose of the group is networking and publishing thepeer-reviewed, international journal, Aethlon, a secondary and equallyimportant objective is educative with the goal of adding courses in thediscipline to university, college, and, perhaps, high school offerings.
With that goal in mind, we occasionally publishan issue of the journal dedicated to the teaching of sport literature.Combining selected works from past issues of Aethlon with new or invitedpieces, the teaching issue, tailored toward the topics that will permeate classrooms this fall and beyond, will be available for purchase in mid-October. Those considering adoption of the work for classroom use can purchase a review copy for a nominal fee. Should you have interest in doing so, please contact Joyce Duncan at joyced1001 at cs.com for additional information. Joyce DuncanDr. Joyce Duncan
