I echo the sentiments of SLA members who have written in response to the
sad news of Dick's passing and offer up the following memory. I believe it
was after the conference in West Liberty when I was driving back to Dayton
and by chance caught up with Dick and Minel at a rest stop somewhere along
I-70: I recognized the two of them holding hands as they walked back to
their truck. I just stood there and appreciated the image they presented.
Nothing more needed to be said.
