[ARETE] sports flash fiction?

Without embarrassment I can suggest that several of the stories in my collection "The Miller Masks" (including three that first appeared in "Arete" or "Aethlon") engage in a variety of ways with sports. Unfortunately the co-publishers of that book are out of business--but I have a few dozen copies left in mint condition.

Aside from that, I'm proud to say that my novel "The Great Molinas" has been used to good effect in several courses around the country. Alas, both editions are out of print, though many a second-hand copy might be located.

Hope you enjoy the course as much as my students did over the years.

Good luck, Neil

I've had a lot of success teaching a few stories from John Edgar Wideman's Briefs ( https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FBriefs-John-Edgar-Wideman%2Fdp%2F0557310040&data=02%7C01%7Csport_literature_association%40lists.ku.edu%7C90fb68aed0d64ba3a8e508d792ea604b%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C0%7C637139407643901400&sdata=rfYBAIpK0UjwlwuhLgCt%2BeC8LWKHLj3ioENLGvI0in8%3D&reserved=0 https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FBriefs-John-Edgar-Wideman%2Fdp%2F0557310040&data=02%7C01%7Csport_literature_association%40lists.ku.edu%7C90fb68aed0d64ba3a8e508d792ea604b%7C3c176536afe643f5b96636feabbe3c1a%7C0%7C0%7C637139407643901400&sdata=rfYBAIpK0UjwlwuhLgCt%2BeC8LWKHLj3ioENLGvI0in8%3D&reserved=0 ) in the first weeks of my sports lit class and would love to have a few more authors on there.
