Watching the baseball playoffs and the World Series I have been wondering if there is anyone out there in SLA land who remembers a meeting early on, I think in San Diego, when Lyle brought the Astros pitching coach, Brent Strom, to present at SLA. His topic was the language of the bullpen or something like that. He and Lyle had a San Diego connection where Strom grew up and were he played some of his major league career.

One tidbit that I remember is when he talked about the first time he had seen Sandy Koufax pick up a baseball and the ball disappeared.
