All,
The following are available for your reading pleasure and as a distraction
from those awful final exams that will soon be sitting on your desk.
Alpert, Rebecca and Arthur Remillard. *God's Games & Globalization: New
perspectives on religion and sport. *Macon, Georgia: Mercer U Press, 2019
Bachynski, Kathleen. *No Game for boys to play: The history of youth
football and the origins of a public health crisis. *Chapel Hill:
University of North Carolina Press, 2019
Schraag Myles and Julie Hammonds, eds. *To Imogene, a Flagstaff love
letter*. Flagstaff, AZ: Soulstice Publishing, 2019. (This is a mini
coffee table book of letters referencing the Imogene Pass run. Runners
will find it interesting, and if you read it gently you could gift it to a
fellow runner!)
If interested in any of these please respond to djamieso at ashland.edu and
not the list. Be sure to include your snail mail address.
Thanks
Duncan
Remember to smell the roses as you recumber past
