I wonder if, in addition to the steps addressed by so many here, if it wouldn’t be worth it to send a copy of your research along with some way of presenting your strategy or routine to your legislator. Undoubtedly, some won’t care or will reject it, but when I think of the outcomes of the researchers and schools, how can they not be proud of their ‘constituents?’ Most of them don’t know firsthand what you have accomplished. Keep it simple, if possible, but a few pictures of results might move them?
